If you are not able to complete the semester because of unforeseen
circumstances, it is very important that you complete the forms for
withdrawal from the University. If you stop attending classes without
withdrawing, you will be assigned “F” or “WU”grades
in your courses.

Procedures for Withdrawal from all Classes
A. THROUGH SECOND WEEK OF CLASSES
Fall 2006: Through September 15, 2006
Spring 2007: Through February 9, 2007
Official withdrawal forms may be obtained from and submitted to the Admissions and Records Counter. You do not need to call CASPER to drop each course individually. Students unable to withdraw in person may obtain instructions and forms online http://webapps1.csus.edu/admr/content/form/default.asp
B. THIRD THROUGH TWELFTH WEEKS OF SEMESTER
Fall 2006: September 18 - November 24, 2006
Spring 2007: February 12 - April 27, 2007
Obtain and submit official withdrawal forms in the Academic Advising Center, LSN-1012, 278-6351. Students who are unable to obtain the forms in person may obtain instructions and forms online

C. During the LAST three weeks of SEMESTER
Fall 2006: November 27 - December 15, 2006
Spring 2007: April 30 - May 18, 2007
Official withdrawals from all classes are not processed during the last three weeks of classes except for verifiable medical emergencies.
D. During FINAL EXAM week
Withdrawals are not accepted after the last day of classes, December 15, 2005 for Fall semester and May 18, 2006 for Spring semester. Students should contact individual instructors to determine if arrangements can be made to receive an “Incomplete” grade.
