To ensure accurate academic advising, students are encouraged to keep the following in an advising folder:

• Transcripts (or grade reports) of previous college work;
• Copies of Sacramento State semester grades;
• Copies of all petitions or forms submitted;
• All letters and forms received from the University;
• General Education Evaluation.
The advising folder should be brought to all meetings with an advisor.
