WITHDRAWAL FROM ALL CLASSES

If you are not able to complete the semester because of unforeseen circumstances, it is very important that you complete the forms for official withdrawal from the University. If you stop attending classes without withdrawing, you will be assigned “F” or “WU” grades in your courses.

Procedures for Withdrawal from all Classes

A. THROUGH SECOND WEEK OF CLASSES
Fall 2008: Through September 12, 2008
Spring 2009: Through February 6, 2009


Official withdrawal forms may be obtained from and submitted to the Admissions and Records Counter. You do not need to drop each course individually. Students unable to withdraw in person may obtain instructions and forms online at http://webapps1.csus.edu/admr/content/form/default.asp.

B. THIRD THROUGH TWELFTH WEEKS OF SEMESTER
Fall 2008: September 15 - November 21, 2008
Spring 2009: February 9 - April 24, 2009


Obtain and submit official withdrawal forms in the Academic Advising Center, LSN-1012, (278-6351). Students who are unable to obtain the forms in person may obtain instructions and forms online at http://webapps1.csus.edu/admr/content/form/default.asp.

C. During the LAST three weeks of SEMESTER
Fall 2008: November 24 - December 12, 2008
Spring 2009: April 27 - May 15, 2009


Official withdrawals from all classes are not processed during the last three weeks of classes except for verifiable medical emergencies.

D. During FINAL EXAM week

Withdrawals are not accepted after the last day of classes, December 12, 2008 for Fall semester and May 15, 2009 for Spring semester. Students should contact individual instructors to determine if arrangements can be made to receive an “Incomplete” grade.
