Registration Fees
The total course fee is listed in the Class Notes section. Winter Intersession fees cannot be paid in installments. Auditors, residents and non-residents of California ALL pay the same fees.

Payment Options
Payments must be made by check or money order (made out to CSUS), credit card, and cash. If fees are being paid by an outside agency, students must provide sponsor documents when registering.

Returned Checks
In the event that a check for registration fees is returned, the total penalty fee is $45 ($25 late fee plus $20 returned check fee). If the check is not cleared within five days from notice, students will be disenrolled from classes without further notice.

A "stop payment" on a student's check accepted by the University in payment of registration is not acceptable as notice of withdrawal from a class. Checks returned to the University with a "stop payment" notation will be pursued through legal collection procedures, and the student will be responsible for the collection costs.

Refund Regulations
Students are entitled to a full tuition refund, less a $10.00 processing fee, if they officially withdraw and file for a refund by December 14, 2007. If a class is dropped on or after January 2, 2008, please refer to the refund schedule. If fees were paid by someone other than the student (i.e., parents or employer) and a refund is requested, the refund check will be made out to the student.

For classes two weeks or less in length there is no refund once the session has begun.
Refund amounts reflect a $10 service charge deduction.
Refunds are made according to the schedule approved by the
California State University Trustees.
