A late registration fee of $25 is charged to students who fail to pay fees by May 3, 2006 (the last day of CASPER and CasperWeb).

*Note: The 30-unit cap on academic year tuition for non-residents does not apply to summer semester.

Non-Sacramento State students may enroll on a space available basis beginning June 5, 2006, for Sessions A and C, June 26, 2006 for Session D, and July 17, 2006 for Session B, through the "Open University." The "Open University" registration fee is $160 per semester unit.

All fees are subject to change without notice, based on approval by the Trustees of the California State University and/or budgetary approval by the State Legislature and Governor. (The fees noted above are estimates for 2006 and will be updated if changes occur.)

CAN I RECEIVE FINANCIAL AID FOR SUMMER?

You must pay your registration fees prior to being reimbursed by your financial aid award. Financial Aid is available based on any remaining eligibility for the 2005/06 aid year. You must have a 2005/2006 FAFSA on file to determine the amount and type of aid for which you may be eligible and you must also file the Sacramento State Institutional Summer Financial Aid Application. The timing of the aid disbursement is determined by the first week of the last session in which you are enrolled. For example, if you are registered for courses in both Session A (first 6-weeks) and Session B (second 6-weeks), you will not receive your aid disbursement until the first week of Session B.

REGISTRATION

WHEN WILL THE SUMMER SCHEDULE OF CLASSES BE AVAILABLE?

The summer schedule will be available on the web about February 1, 2006. There will be no printed Schedule of Classes.

WHEN CAN I REGISTER?

CASPER Registration (telephone and web): April 17 - May 3, 2006.

CASPER Plus (telephone and web): May 30-31, and June 5 - June 16, 2006.

Classes with low enrollment may be canceled after May 3, 2006, so it's very important for you to register by May 3 (the end of the initial CASPER registration period).

MAY I REGISTER FOR SUMMER COURSES IF I AM NOT A SACRAMENTO STATE STUDENT?

If you are currently attending another CSU campus, you may be eligible to take courses at Sacramento State in the summer as an "Intrasystem Visitor." You should contact your home campus for information about the "Intrasystem Visitor" process and to initiate the application and financial aid process.

If you are not a student at another CSU campus, you may take summer courses at Sacramento State on a space available basis through the "Open University" registration procedures.

MAY I TAKE CLASSES IN SUMMER 2006 IF I'VE BEEN ADMITTED FOR FALL 2006?

If you have been admitted for fall as a graduate student, contact the Graduate Studies Office, (916) 278-6470, Riverfront Center 206.
