As a professor of English as a Foreign Language for the last two decades, the presenter has experienced the unique challenges of learning English in a foreign context, a context where the target language (i.e. English) has minimal and almost non-existent exposure beyond the classroom.
In his lecture, Professor José Israel Oliva will discuss various aspects and issues related to learning English as a foreign language in a region of the world where English is not the dominant language.
