About the film:

La gran final is a comedy in three parallel stories about the trials and tribulations of three heroes who never meet but have something in common: they all live in the most remote regions of the planet, and they are determined to see the final game of the 2002 World Cup between Germany and Brazil. A family of Mongolian nomads, a camel caravan of Tuaregs in the Sahara, and a group of Amazon Indians are the protagonists in this comic adventure. All of them live hundreds of miles from the next town – and the next television - but they have the resourcefulness and sheer willpower they’ll need to achieve their goal. In a world where instant access to information is taken for granted, what happens in the most isolated places on earth? The film asks fundamental questions about the information age and globalization through a visually breathtaking universal story.
