Edith López Ovalle directs H.I.J.O.S. (Hijos e Hijas por la Identidad y la Justicia contra el Olvido y el Silencio).
Ms. López Ovalle will speak on the importance of political organizing as a means to social justice, emphasizing the work of H.I.J.O.S. in México.
H.I.J.O.S. is a nationwide network that collectively seeks justice for families who suffer under the last military dictatorship.
