Mission


The mission of the Dreamer Resource Center is to make the dream of a college degree a reality for undocumented students and students with mixed-status families at Sacramento State. The goal of the center is to help students overcome the unique challenges that get in the way of achieving academic, personal and professional excellence.

Goals


  1. Provide access to higher education opportunities to undocumented high school, transfer, and graduate students, and those with mixed-status families.
  2. Create a campus culture of knowledge and sensitivity to the issues faced by undocumented students and students with mixed-status families.
  3. Increase access, retention and graduation of undocumented students and students with mixed-status families by addressing their unique academic, personal and professional needs in a supportive and safe environment.
