  • Students owe full fees
  • Students on the State University Installment Plan must have made initial payment by due date above
  • Student are not on a waiver or TPC plan
  • Students are not deferred by Financial Aid (all Financial Aid deferments removed first day of class)
  • Students are not deferred by the Student Financial Services Center or Financial Aid as an exception
  • Students are not first-time students (deferred until August 2008)
  • Student are not International students (deferments until August 2008)
  • Student are not in an Athlete student group

Definition of Registration Fees

State University Fee – Mandatory
Fee established to augment the budget for Instructional Services.

Instructionally Related Activities Fee – Mandatory
These funds are to provide support for essential educational experiences and activities that aid and supplement the fundamental educational mission of the University.  For example, laboratory experiences which are at least partially sponsored by an academic discipline or department and which are, in the judgment of the President, integrally related to its formal instructional offerings.  Activities which are considered to be essential to the quality of an educational program and an important instructional experience for any student enrolled in the respective program may be considered instructionally related.  

Associated Students Fee – Mandatory
To provide for non-instructional activities and programs which are designed to benefit all students and to maintain the student’s well- being.

University Union Fee _- Mandatory
To provide payment for the bond on the University Union building.

Facilities Fee – Mandatory
To provide payment for the bond on the Student Health Center.

Health Services Fee – Mandatory
To provide basic health services to students at the Health Center.  Basic care is the treatment of common illnesses or injuries.

Hornet Newspaper Fee – Mandatory
To provide free copies of student newspaper to students.
