INSTALLMENT PAYMENT PLAN (IPP)
- The IPP requires that you pay all of the miscellaneous registration fees and a $33 non-refundable service charge as your first payment.
- The balance of your registration fees (the State University Fee portion) will then be split into four equal payments with due dates from August – November in the Fall semester, and January – April in the Spring.
- You will not receive paper billing statements in the mail. You will be notified of fees due by Sac State Messaging only. You are required to keep an updated email address on MySacState at https://my.csus.edu.
- If you are registering late, you may owe as much as the first three payments in addition to a $25.00 late registration fee to avoid enrollment cancellation.
- Late installment payments will incur a fee of $10 each time you are late.
- Missed payments (or rejected checks) may result in enrollment cancellation. If you lose your classes, you may not be able to get them back due to waiting lists.
- If your enrollment is cancelled you may be charged a $100 re-enrollment fee.
- Failure to pay may result in additional collection costs, including those associated with referral to a third-party collection agency. In addition a hold will remain on your account until the debt is paid in full.
To enroll for the IPP, log on to the Student Center through MySacState at https://my.csus.edu. Scroll down to the Finances Section and click on the Account Inquiry link. Then choose the Payment Plan tab and follow the instructions.
