Leadership Opportunities at Sac State

We provide leadership development, education, recognition, and training to students at Sacramento State through the Leadership Initiative (LI), the Fall Leadership Conference, and Spring Diversity Leadership Conference and Leadership Workshops, a Leadership Blog, and Leadership Awards.

The Leadership Initiative or LI is a multi-tiered certificate program designed to develop students’ leadership and professional skills, serve as a foundation for involvement in campus life, and promote retention, academic success, and graduation.

The Fall Leadership Conference serves as an opportunity for student leaders both new and returning to learn more about being an effective leader in the Sac State community.

The Spring Diversity Conference is dedicated to providing a safe and fearless space to all students to explore diversity, leadership, and inclusion.

The Leadership Workshops provide advanced leadership development opportunities for new and experienced student leaders.

The Leadership Blog provides student leaders a platform for recognition, empowerment, and community.

The Leadership Awards are a celebration of leadership accomplishment and programming.
