SO&L Leadership Conferences

Student Organizations & Leadership hosts two leadership conferences each academic year, one at the start of each semester. The SO&L Leadership Conference provides all students at Sacramento State with an opportunity to learn about leadership and develop important individual and organizational leadership skills through workshops hosted by campus and community partners. Build your resume, network with student leaders, and strengthen your potential for academic, personal, and professional success!

Fall 2016: "The Power of YOU"

SO&L’s Fall Leadership Conference serves as an opportunity for student leaders both new and returning to learn more about being an effective leader in the Sac State community. Students get to engage with their peers through a series of activities and workshops that are facilitated by other student leaders, staff and faculty.  Some of the workshops offered are how to prepare to submit DOC funding, event planning & Nuts & Bolts just to name a few.

SO&L’s Spring Diversity Leadership Conference is dedicated to providing a safe and fearless space to all students in the Sac State community an opportunity to explore ideas and challenge established assumptions. Students get to venture into the topics of diversity and inclusion through a series of workshops and working spaces where participants get to work with each other to create collaborative efforts to address issues impacting the Sac State student community.
