Faculty Awards

The University periodically recognizes faculty from within each College for outstanding achievements. Additionally, faculty within SSIS have been honored with a wide variety of awards. Here are some recent winners:

  • Professor Amy Liu, Department of Sociology, is the 13-14 winner of the Faculty Senate Outstanding University Service Award for SSIS.
  • Professor Mark Brown, Department of Government, is the 13-14 winner of the Faculty Senate Outstanding Teaching Award for SSIS.
  • Associate Professor Caio Miguel, Department of Psychology, is the 13-14 winner of the Faculty Senate Outstanding Scholarly and Creative Activities Award for SSIS.
  • Associate Professor Pattaratorn Chirapravati, Art Department, Director of the Asian Studies Program, is the 12-13 winner of the Faculty Senate Outstanding University Service Award for SSIS.
  • Assistant Professor Sujatha Moni, Department of Women's Studies, is the 12-13 winner of the Faculty Senate Outstanding Teaching Award for SSIS.
  • Associate Professor Kimberly Nalder, Department of Government, is the 12-13 winner of the Faculty Senate Outstanding Community Service Award for SSIS.
  • Professor Seunghee Wie, Department of Family & Consumer Sciences, is the 12-13 winner of the Faculty Senate Outstanding Community Service Award for SSIS.
