Recent Awards

The University periodically recognizes students, faculty, and staff from within each College for outstanding achievements. Additionally, people within SSIS have been honored with a wide variety of awards. Here are some recent winners:

• Professor Greg Kim-Ju, Department of Psychology, is the 2010 winner of the Faculty Senate Outstanding Teaching Award and Outstanding Community Service Award for SSIS.
• Professor David Lang, Department of Economics, is the 2010 winner of the Faculty Senate Outstanding University Service Award for SSIS.
• Melissa Holden, Economics Major, is Spring 2010 winner of the College of SSIS Dean's Award.
• Janet Voris, Environmental Studies Major, is the Phi Kappa Phi outstanding student inductee for SSIS.
