Janice's Story: Competitive Archery

Janice Waltham
Competitive Archer
My proudest accomplishments are: "getting my B.S. degree in Adaptive Technology for Adults with Disabilities and winning two World Championship medals, silver and bronze, and setting world records in archery."
In my spare time I like: "to shoot archery, crochet, spend time with my family and travel."
I am passionate about: "helping people who are disabled to feel positive about themselves through education, and by participating in recreational activities such as archery."
Something that surprises people about me: "People are surprised that a person who is blind can be competitive in the sport of archery on the World Championship level."
