Laptop and Equipment Checkout

We have a variety of laptops available for all your professional needs. We also provide staff with other electronic devices such as projectors, webcams, and presentation laser pointers. If you'd like to check out any equipment from us, please contact us and we'll work as quickly as possible to prepare one for you. We can also provide accessories for laptops such as bags, spare chargers, mice, audio cables, and VGA cords.

Please note that all laptops, electronic devices, and accessories are at a first-come first-serve basis. We'll do our best to provide you with what you need, but back-orders do happen on occassion.

Optix/DocView Access

In order to obtain access to Optix/DocView please complete the Security Agreement form at the following link Optix Security Agreement. Once you have completed the form, please send it to Student Affairs Technology & Imaging office in Lassen Hall 3004 for processing.

Hardware Installation and Troubleshooting

If you are having any trouble with the way your computer machine functions, please contact us and we'll come and assist you any way possible. We provide fixes and replacements for a variety of computer hardware such as towers, monitors, keyboards, mice, cables, graphics cards, and hard-disk drives.

Please note that our computer equipment is limited in supply and on a first-come first-serve basis. We'll help you to the best of our abilities, but supplies do run out on occassion. Also, we cannot provide users with ergonomic keyboards or mice. If you require any ergonomic equipment, please speak to your supervisor.

Software Installation and Troubleshooting

We help install and troubleshoot a variety of office-related programs including the entire Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Communicator, and SnagIT. If your computer needs any software updates, installation, or troubleshooting, please contact us at sa-it@csus.edu .
