5/2-8/2009 Friday, Over 100 students came out to support the National Pan-Hellenic Council at the Phi Beta Sigma Annual Yardshow. 4/24-5-1/2009 Wednesday, 450 Fraternity and Sorority members took place in the IFC/Panhellenic Greek Week. On Wednesday, student showed their jumping prowess.
4/18-24/2009 Wednesday, nearly 50 Sac State students shaved their heads at the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternities St. Baldrick's event. The event raised over $6,000 dollars to help conquer kids' cancer. Haircut assistance was provided by Mellow Me Out. Karlos Santos-Coy also participated in the fun. Video of Karlos Santos-Coy supporting the effort and shaving his head!
Tuesday, the United Sorority Fraternity Council Shows off their Greek Week Shirts with 40 bags of clothing to be donated to La Familia Counseling Center, Inc.
4/11-17/2009. Over 100 Sac State students Take back the Night, Tuesday, 4/14/09. Three speakers from DeAnza college spoke out about sexual assault and gender violence. 4/6-10/2009. Sac State students collected over 7,000 pounds of food during the U-Can Food Drive, April 6-10, 2009. This project was the first service event coordinated by the student organization Rotaract Club. |
