Ways to Give
The College of Education is responsible for the professional development of teachers, administrators and counselors to meet the needs of California's diverse schools, families and communities in the 21st century. Each year the College of Education graduates close to 700 first-time teachers and more than 1,000 student interns are placed into community schools and social service agencies for service-learning projects and supervised fieldwork.
The College of Education also addresses the needs of education professionals throughout their careers. The College’s core values—transformative leadership, equity and social justice, community action, collaboration and human diversity—encourage students to seek positive social change.
