Campus Community

Students and faculty connect through special events hosted by the President's Committee to Build Campus Unity.

President's Committee to Build Campus Unity

At Sacramento State, we often reference the “campus community” when talking about our students, faculty, staff and alumni. In an effort to bring that community closer together, President Alexander Gonzalez established the Committee to Build Campus Unity, with appointed members who represent students, faculty and staff across campus.

We invite the campus community to our culumnating event, "Sac State CommUnity: And Still We Rise" to be held from noon to 1:15 p.m., March 9 in the University Union Ballroom.

Students, faculty and staff will present creative works of poetry, spoken word, dance, film, music and other forms of expression in a celebration of community designed to inspire our diverse campus.

Students, faculty and staff are invited to attend. Lunch will be available for the first 300 attendees. RSVPs are encouraged: email rsvp@csus.edu.
