Campaign for Nursing Priorities

Faculty Support
The Campaign for Nursing seeks funds for faculty positions to make Sacramento State more attractive to top professors who will add value to student educational experiences and research opportunities.

Outstanding Facilities for Teaching and Learning
Cutting-edge equipment and learning environments are vital to preparing students for successful careers in nursing.  We seek funds that will allow us to mirror the high-tech health organizations in which they will work.

Endowments to establish scholarship programs will assist deserving students and Sacramento State to attract top-quality undergraduates. Graduate fellowships will encourage top students to pursue advanced degrees and develop as future leaders and faculty in the field.

Program Innovations
We must ensure student success in every discipline by innovating academic and co-curricular programs that promote learning and leadership development.  Students benefit from an education designed to prepare them to be clinicians, advocates, researches and educators ready to meet the needs of diverse community in the 21st century.

Campaign Goal: $1.8 million
