Hornet Pride Challenge

The Hornet Pride Challenge is a new student-led giving campaign created for students to join together and donate to Sacramento State with a gift in the name of their graduating class. Donations support and enrich the experience of current and future Hornets. The education and experience we all gain while students would not be possible if not for the financial support of Sac State alumni, family and friends. So, now it's your turn to take your first step towards creating a legacy at Sac State. To learn more about what your class is doing, visit and 'like' the appropriate page below to stay connected!

Your Challenge

Class of 2013 . . .

Create a legacy at Sacramento State by becoming a donor to our student-led Class gift campaign. Our goal is to raise $2,013 by the end of 2013, in commemoration of the Class of 2013. The suggested gift amount is $20.13 but what really matters is your participation, so please consider a gift of any amount. At the end of the year, a tile will be placed on the Gift Wall of Recognition on the outside of the Alumni Center recognizing the Class of 2013 and those who gave. Your support will make an immediate impact and the tile will share your legacy for a lifetime! Make your gift today!

Class of 2014 and beyond . . .

As we build the Hornet Pride Challenge, our goal is to get students involved early in their career at Sac State. Consider making a gift each year in the name of your class. By graduation, the goal will be to have $2,014 donated and so forth based on your grad year.

Your gift will truly make a difference for the next generation of Sacramento State leaders. Make your gift today!

The Student Advancement Council works closely with Alumni Relations and University Advancement to engage fellow students and encourage each other to 'pay it forward,' supporting the future of Sac State with the goal of creating active and supportive Hornet alumni.
