The OneCard is the official photo identification card for California State University, Sacramento. It bears a photograph of the cardholder and a magnetic strip. The OneCard is used to authenticate the authorized cardholder's eligibility to participate in events or activities for which participation has been limited to enrolled Sacramento State students, employees, and/or campus-affiliated program participants.
Each enrolled student is charged an initial fee to cover the cost of producing and maintaining the card. Lost, stolen or mutilated cards may be replaced, and are subject to a service charge for each replacement.
University faculty and staff, including employees of the University's official auxiliary organizations, are provided an initial OneCard at the expense of the University or the employee's auxiliary organization. Lost, stolen or mutilated cards may be replaced, and are subject to a service charge for each replacement. Employee-held cards are valid for current employees only and must be surrendered when employment with the University is terminated.
The OneCard Center has responsibility for issuing the OneCard and monitoring its authorized use for campus events and activities and other miscellaneous services available to the cardholder.
The OneCard is available to currently enrolled students, currently employed faculty and staff, including employees of the University's official auxiliary organizations, and other campus-affiliated program participants.
