DEAN’S HONOR LIST
Beginning Fall 1984, to be eligible to earn Dean’s Honor List notation on the academic transcript, a student must:
- achieve a term grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or better if a freshman, or a 3.25 or better if a sophomore, junior, or senior;
- complete a minimum of 12 letter graded units; and
- complete all courses attempted during the semester with a letter grade of “C-“ or better. A student who earns a grade of D, F, NC (No Credit), I (Incomplete), or WU (Unsatisfactory Withdrawal) during the semester is disqualified for the Dean’s Honor List regardless of their term GPA. A student, who receives a grade of “Incomplete” which prevents the eligibility for Dean’s Honor List notation, may have that notation posted retroactively if the work is completed and graded within the allowable one-year time limit. The grade earned must meet the standard for the term in question as stated above.
