The University Union Board of Directors is responsible for setting policy for the University Union Operations of California State University Sacramento. This includes policies in the area of facility use and development, services and programs (see link on left).

The Board of Directors approves the annual Strategic Plan and the annual budget, both of which set the direction of the University Union and how it will serve the campus community. The Board is also integral to any future facility development, including the Recreation/Wellness/Event Center as well as the University Union.

Some past accomplishments of the University Union Board of Directors includes the reorganization of the Board of Directors to a student majority board from an administration majority board, a long-range plan for the Union and also the approval of a referendum effort to create the visionary Recreation/Wellness/Event Center.
