ACCESS TO TENANT SPACES
Last updated: May 3, 2002
GENERAL STATEMENT
In an effort to ensure security of spaces within the University Union, procedures
have been developed to limit access to those spaces where there is a tenant.
The numerous tenants of the Union must be assured that their space is secure
in their absence.
GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES
By prior arrangements some spaces require the regular admittance of the Union
staff to perform their duties. These would include but not be limited to cleaning,
maintenance, and watchclock rounds. These areas are currently the Coffee House,
Kung Fu Fats, Campus Recreation/Peak Adventures, KSSU/Safe Rides, The Hive, University
Center Restaurant, the Main Kitchen, State Hornet, ASI Government, ASI Business,
Student Activities, and the Student Services Connection.
Tenants may choose to have their areas secured in their absence with no admittance
except for urgent or emergency instances. In these cases two employees are required
to gain admittance to these areas. These areas are currently The Store, Gordito
Burrito, Burger King Express, TCBY, STA Travel, Box Center, CSUS Central Ticket
Office, SmartCut , Main Kitchen dry storage, the Catering Office, Tarts and Truffles
storage, and The Student Health Connection.
