University Staff Assembly: Volunteer

Attention, Athletic Fans!

Athletics is looking for volunteers.

Sacramento State Athletics needs volunteers to assist during the upcoming football season. In return, volunteers will receive two game tickets as well as the ability to watch the games they participate in. See "Volunteer Descriptions" below.

Volunteers will be required to arrive one hour and 45 minutes prior to game time and remain until approximately the conclusion of the game, approximately 3 hours. An information/training 2 hour session is required for volunteers each season to be held at the beginning of each season.

 

VOLUNTEER DESCRIPTIONS:

PRE-GAME VIP PARTY: Provide invited guests food and beverage tickets and direct them accordingly. Expected at the Alumni Center approximately 2 hours prior to kick-off. View not applicable as this duty is before the start of the game.

 

FIELD GATE MONITOR: Monitors one of the three (3) gates leading to the playing field. North gate monitor will also assist with getting teams and officials on/off field. Checks for proper credentials before allowing access to field. View of game from field level.

 

SUITE LEVEL MONITOR: Monitors one of two (2) gates leading from West Grandstand to suite level. Checks for proper credentials before allowing access to suite level.

EAST GRANDSTAND USHER: Monitors East Grandstand (general admission seating). Answers guest questions. View of game from east grandstand.

 

INFORMATION/LOST & FOUND TENT: Assists guest with all questions. View of game from north end of stadium.
