RE:     New Parking Fee - Effective July 2007

Pursuant to agreements negotiated between California Faculty Association (CFA) and the California State University and California State University Employee Union (CSUEU) and the California State University, parking fees for employees in bargaining units 2, 3, 5, 7 & 9 will be increased effective July 2007. The new parking permit fees are:  Faculty in Unit 3 will be increased by 3% from $14.00/month to $14.42/month; Staff in Units 2, 5, 7 & 9 will be increased by 4% from $14.00/month to $14.56/month.                        

For university employees using payroll deduction, the increased parking permit fee will be automatically increased and deducted through your payroll deduction. There is no action required on your part.  The parking fee increase should be in effect on the July 31, 2007 paycheck. All non payroll deducted parking permits shall be sold at the new parking fee rate by the end of July 2007.
