University Transportation & Parking Services (UTAPS) accepts applications from Sacramento State students interested in working during the Fall and Spring semesters. We are looking for students who are very positive, professional and are friendly.

Positions include:

  • Shuttle Bus Driver - Drive "Hornet Express" shuttle bus, Night Shuttle, and serve as Night Shuttle Dispatch. Shuttle Driver's $12.00/hr, Night Shuttle - $10.25, see Shuttle training rate below. Contact the Shuttle Coordinator with questions at (916) 278-3653.
  • Community Service Officer (CSO) - Enforce parking rules and regulations and staff bicycle compounds. Starting pay rate - $8.50/hr. Contact the Parking Supervisor with questions at (916) 278-7680.
  • Office Assistants - Staff Transportation and Parking Office. Starting pay Rate - $8.75/hr. Contact the University Transportation & Parking Services (UTAPS) Office Coordinator with any questions at (916) 278-5244.

 

Sacramento State student assistants must have at least a 2.0 GPA and be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) units. Applications may be obtained from the University Transportation and Parking Service (UTAPS) Office.

Persons applying for shuttle driver positions must have a clean driving record and pass the required physical exam and drug screening test. Additionally, drivers must be 18 years of age. Training rate is $8.50/hr. Training sessions are generally conducted in the months of July and August.
