November 28, Monday, Priority Registration Begins for Veterans and Dependents
The Veterans Success Center (VSC) would like to remind you that priority registration begins on Monday the 28th of November for student veterans and continues into the next week for dependent students. If you receive a G.I. Bill benefit you must complete the Veterans Enrollment Certificate (VEC) located in our office or online and turn it in promptly after registering for spring classes. Failure to complete the VEC in a timely manner may result in drops from courses, delayed benefit payments, and student financial holds. The best solution is to take advantage of priority registration and complete your VEC within a few days of registering. If you require special assistance or foresee any delays in your ability to complete this process please notify the VSC immediately after registering.
Additionally, we want you to be aware that Break-Pay during the winter break will no longer be paid by the V.A. This means you will not receive a check for the time between December 16 and January 23rd unless you are taking Winter Session. The VSC will be open throughout the winter with the exception of December 23-January 2, if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to assist you.
