Thesis/Project Writing Groups
What are Thesis Writing Groups?
Groups of 3-5 graduate students in the same department or college who meet regularly over the course of a semester to give each other feedback on theses or written projects. The Writing Across the Curriculum Program organizes and assists the groups.
Why should I join a Thesis Writing Group?
Meeting regularly with a group and sharing your writing will keep you on schedule and give you helpful feedback from a peer audience. Whether you are just starting your thesis or project or you are almost finished, getting feedback from a group of peers will be valuable.
How do I join a Thesis Writing Group?
Send an email stating that you are interested in joining a thesis group to wac@csus.edu or call Dan Melzer, University Reading and Writing Coordinator, at 278-6925.
