FAQ Overview

Have questions? This is the place.

Accessibility

In fall 2006, the Chancellor's Office launched the Accessible Technology Initiative that applies to all CSU campuses. In short, all new pages built as of Fall 2008 must be accessible, and all sites "critical to administrative access" must be accessible by June 2009. Use this FAQ to learn more about the ATI and how to make accessible pages.

Captioning

Part of the accessibility policy concerns the captioning of audio/video content to ensure it is accessible for all site visitors. The FAQ answers some common questions about process, resources, and requirements.

Server Access & Usage

In order to edit or make webpages on csus.edu, you must get access to a server. This FAQ describes how to get access to servers and the requirements to keep that access.

Security

If you are writing applications for the web (or using forms in any way), then security protocols must be followed to ensure that data collected or displayed is appropriately protected and that there is adequate testing for vulnerabilities. Learn more from the security FAQ.
