Educational Programs
| The Women's Resource Center offers educational
programs on sexual assault awareness, domestic violence issues, and hate crime issues. In addition, we can offer assist with booking speakers concerning LGBT issues. We offer self-defense classes in conjunction with the Student Health Center. We send educators out to speak to student groups, academic classes, and faculty/staff

ID 195B - Course Syllabus
This is an introductory course on the theory and practice of peer education concerning the issue of sexual violence. You’ll get to:
- Study the issue of sexual violence in our society.
- Creat events on campus to educate about this issue.
- Interact with your peers, both on an individual level and a group level, to facilitate learning and activism.
- Learn now to effectively communicate in public.
- Have a great time using your own creativity and passion to affect change in our society.
- Gain valuable references for job resumes and grad school resumes.
- Have a personal sense of satisfaction from helping people around you.
This course can be taken for 1 – 3 units and some students may qualify for a second-semester advanced training as well.
