The Women's Resource Center has current books addressing gender, feminism, LGBT, and multicultural issues. We also have educational videos which may be checked out to faculty, staff and students.
Materials may be checked out for up to two weeks and require a current Sac State ID.

The Student Health Center is the campus resource for information and assistance regarding these issues. They have an extensive program of education and support available to students.

One of the oldest feminist academic programs in the country, the Women's Studies Program at California State University, Sacramento was fouded over 25years ago. The Women's Studies Program provides students with a disciplinary model of the study of women's contributions to culture, knowledge, and society. Women's Studies promotes teaching and research in the service of eliminating sexism, racism and other forms of oppression.

CSUS Multi-Cultural Center

The Multi-Cultural Center is strategically located on the main floor of the University Library. Care has been taken to develop a sense of warmth in the appearance of the physical facility and is often the location for receptions, exhibits and small group discussions and presentations. This unique setting has been a critical resource for students and the University community in promoting understanding and acceptance. The Center also hosts numerous activities sponsored by members of the local Sacramento Community.
Each Year the Multi-Cultural Center sponsors between 50 to 70 individual programs ranging from cultural exhibits to cultural celebrations. Lectures, classroom presentations and training programs also are scheduled throughout the year at the request of local schools, business and community agencies.

The SHARE Institute is one of our recipients of the VDAY funds.
Courses/Education
The Women's Resource Center offers educational programs on sexual assault awareness, intimate partner violence, and hate crime issues. In addition, we can offer assistance with booking speakers concerning LGBT issues. We offer self-defense classes in conjunction with the Student Health Center. We send educators out to speak to student groups, academic classes, and provide faculty/staff education.
