Sacramento Native American Health Center Inc. (SNAHC)

The SNAHC serves the Native American community, both local and out-of-state, to develop an experienced Native American of experts in their chosen field with the goal in mind to empower all members of the communtiy. The center provides adult medicine, pediatrics, mental health services, laboratory services, comprehensive dental care for children and adults, substance abuse services, nutrition and diabetes care, and home visitation services.

Sacramento State Student Health Services (SHS)

SHS provides cost-effective care that fosters the health and wellness of the campus community and supports student’s academic and personal success. SHS provides health and wellness services, immunizations, laboratory services, medical services, optometry, pharmacy, counseling and psychological services, STI/STD testing, alcohol assessment services, nutrition services, general health information, literature, events, presentations, outreach, referal services, women's health servies, X-rays, and violence and sexual assault services.

UC Davis Women's Resource and Research Center (WRRC)

The WRRC provides the space and resources for all women to explore and grow in the complexities of their identities, as well as foster their academic and social development individually and within diverse communities. The WRRC provides leadership and educational programs, an extensive library, a safe space, supportive services, and co-sponsorship and scholorship opportunities.

CommuniCare Health Centers

CommuniCare Health Centers provides health care services to the culturally diverse, low-income, uninsured and under-insured population of Yolo County. CommuniCare offers comprehensive primary medical and dental services, substance abuse treatment, behavioral health services, health education and enabling services to the culturally diverse, low-income, uninsured and underinsured residents of Yolo County through five community clinic sites and outreach programs. Three primary care community clinics - Davis Community Clinic in Davis, Peterson Clinic in Woodland, and Salud Clinic in West Sacramento - provide primary medical and dental services in the county’s three main population centers. The Esparto Dental Clinic provides dental care to the residents of the rural northwestern portion of the county. Behavioral health services, including adult and adolescent outpatient substance abuse treatment programs, are offered at John H. Jones Community Clinic in Woodland and at John H. Jones Community Clinic in West Sacramento. CommuniCare’s primary care services include general medicine, pediatrics, immunizations, women’s health services, perinatal care, chronic disease management, vision care, and HIV services. Our dental program provides services at four clinic sites and our Smile Saver dental outreach program provides screenings and oral health education for preschool and elementary school students throughout the county. Our behavioral health services include substance abuse treatment outpatient services for adults and youths, and integrated mental health services. Our health education and outreach services include a Teen Program, chronic disease education and self-management programs, HIV case management, pediatric immunization outreach, and a Promotores outreach program to seasonal and migrant farm workers.
