About Facilties Management

Facilities Management is the steward for the University buildings, infrastructure, grounds and landscape. We perform maintenance and renovation to facilities, plan and manage new building construction and support the Redefine the Possible initiative through our commitment to building a welcoming campus and by creating a dynamic physical environment for students, faculty, staff, and the community.

Facilities Management Units Sac State Grounds

Administration :The Administrative Unit supports the Facilities Management Department by supporting the staff through coordination and management of its business operations.

Facility Operations : Includes Automotive Services, Building Trades (Lock Shop, Multi-craft Shop, Paint Shop, Plumbing Shop, and Sheet Metal Shop), Custodial Services, Customer Service, Moving Services, Housing Facilities and Grounds, and Zone Management.

Planning, Design & Construction Services : Our responsibilities include master planning, capital planning, and design & capital project management.

Sustainability & Plant Operations : Responsible for operations and initiatives that include recycling, waste management, energy and water conservation, and facilitating campus wide compliance efforts with the CSU Sustainability Policy.
