Delegation of Authority and Reports To (DART)

The new DART application resides in CMS, and will replace the CFS Delegation of Authority (DoA) application.
DART will become available to users Dec 1, 2017, and continue as the permanent tool to validate DoA.
The CFS DoA is also available, but will be removed after Feb 23.

The DART application has two inquiry screens for users to:
  1. Lookup DoA by employee or by department.
  2. Lookup manager-employee reporting relationships.

Expenditure Transfer Training Info:

Accounting Services, in collaboration with IRT, launched a new Expenditure Transfer request form that is submitted via OnBase.  The new form is more efficient, streamlining the submission, notification and posting of transfer requests.

The dates below are the last training sessions before October 2019.  All employees who have Delegation of Authority for Expenditure Transfers and submit expenditure transfer requests, are strongly encouraged to attend a training before June 2019.  Beginning October 1, 2019, all expense to expense expenditure transfer requests must be submitted via the OnBase form.

Financial Data Warehouse (FDW)

The FDW-Introductory training will help users run financial reports using FDW.  It covers the "Financial Summary As of Period" guide and other documents in the "FDW Training Guides and Videos" section below. 

The FDW-LCD training will focus on reporting the Labor Cost Distribution (LCD) data in FDW.  See the "LCD Reports" guide in the "FDW Training Guides and Videos" section for details about this training.

You should get access to the FDW application before taking either of these classes.

Procurement Trainings

University Foundation at Sac State (UFSS)

Effective October 1, 2018, Sac State Financial Services assumed administration responsibilities for Foundation Funds.

The UFSS training is designed to help users identify policy and procedure changes with this transition. The limit of students for each session is 20. We reserve the right to cancel sessions when nobody has enrolled.

You can enroll using Skillport. Follow these steps:

  1. Start on your MySacState page
  2. Click on the "Skillport" link
  3. Click "Quick Links"
  4. Click "Instructor Led Training"
  5. Click "Session Schedule"
  6. Go to the "Search" box in the top-right and search for "UFSS".
  7. Locate the appropriate FDW training class and click "Details".
