Welcome to Space Management

Welcome to the website for the Office of Space Management at Sacramento State. Space Management (SM) is a unit of the Resource & Organizational Management (ROM) family within the Division of Administration & Business Affairs (ABA). Space Management is delegated the authority and responsibility to govern space use and schedule academic and State-owned, controlled and operated campus space on behalf of Sacramento State.

Space Management provides a variety of services to the Sacramento State campus including scheduling and managing the use of University facilities for classes, final exams and events; administering the University’s facilities scheduling software; purchasing and maintaining instructional furniture for University Lecture and conference rooms; and providing support services for space planning, allocation, and utilization. Space Management strives to be a professional, customer-focused, responsive and effective provider of space management services in a cooperative framework to best serve Sacramento State's mission and strategic priorities.
