How to use the GPA Calculator?


Steps to get your "Current Semester GPA":

STEP 1

Once you get to the GPA Calculator page, enter in the number of classes you are taking in the current semester and click "OK."

STEP 2

Under the column titled “Course Units,” enter in the number of units for each class and the projected grade in the “Projected Grade” column.

STEP 3

To calculate the GPA for the current semester, click “Calculate Semester GPA” and the GPA will display in the Semester GPA box.

Next: Steps to calculate how your "Overall CSUS or Cumulative GPAs" could be affected:

STEP 1

Look for your unofficial transcript and identify the GPA Units and Points under the most recent semester attended.

STEP 2 - A

Use information on the CSUS GPA row to calculate your CSUS GPA and click "Calculate Current GPA".

STEP 2 - B

Use information on the Cumulative GPA row to calculate your Cumulative GPA and click "Calculate Projected GPA".
