Term of Service:  2 years

UEI is a self-supporting CSU commercial services auxiliary that administers food service, real estate, bookstore, internship and sponsored research functions for Sacramento State.  Board member expertise is one or more areas of business, information technology, economics, grant and contract administration, human resources, dining and hospitality, or studnet housing is preferred.  UEI board members attend two board meetings each semester and an all day retreat each January.  Service on one or more committees that meet twice a sememster is typical.  Committees include executive, audit, budget and finance, personnel, campus grants, and investment.  Faculty representatives shall be eligible for up to two (2) additional two (2) year terms and are encouraged to be available for reappointment. Board memberes serving their second and third terms often chair committees and serve as corporate officers.
