Teaching Vacancies

Each Spring, the Department welcomes applications for part-time teaching positions for the following academic year. A complete listing of all courses scheduled for the next academic year will be posted on the Sacramento State website each March or April. Classes assigned to part-time instructors will have a "staff" designation in the schedule.

Student Employment

Students work as gallery attendants in the Kadema Hall galleries, as tech assistants in the Art Sculpture Lab and New Media labs and as Instructional Support Assistants for large lecture classes. Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications detailed in each job description. Art Models

Classified as Casual Worker/Model, Art Models pose for art classes on a regular basis and are integral to the curriculum for Figure Drawing, Life Studio, Life Painting and Figure Sculpture. These classes meet for approximately six hours per week throughout the academic semester and are typically held in two 170-minute sessions.
