Asian Studies Talk on "Vision for Korea-U.S. Relations"

Han Dong-Man, Consul General of the Republic of Korea in San Francisco, gave the talk "Vision for Korea-U.S. Relations" at Sac State on March 12, 2014. The lecture and following reception were attended by Asian Studies faculty, the SSIS interim associate dean, the director of the CCE International program, and members of Korean communities in the Bay Area and Sacramento.

Sac State's Japanese Students Participate in “Keep Smiling Project 38”

Prof. Masuyama, Asian Studies and Japanese, was visited in class by FOX news, who interviewed students on a project called "Keep Smiling Project 38" which connects Sacramento residents with survivors of Japan's earthquake 3 years ago. See the FOX article here, and see the project web page here.
