Project Management Workshop 2017 Spring

Although it is far more exciting to see a project debacle and hear the inevitable “You’re fired!” directed at the project manager, we generally don’t want to mimic the ill-planned projects shown in The Apprentice in our work.  So, while the show will likely never call on a professional project manager, The Center for Small Business is hosting a Project Management workshop focused on the key success elements of the discipline.  Today, projects are as essential as they are numerous.  And, because of their interdisciplinary nature, projects impact every part of an organization.  People from every functional area are brought together to initiate, plan, execute, control, and close projects to achieve strategic goals.  Projects are often plagued with cost overruns, changes, delays, quality problems, and conflict.  Come learn to tame the chaos.
