Dr. Bach is a Professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management at Sacramento State. Dr. Bach went to the George Washington University for his MBA degree and he received his Ph.D. in Business Administration with the concentration of Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

His teaching interests include new venture creation, new venture performance, business plan and business model canvas, innovation and change management, corporate entrepreneurship, small business consulting, and global strategy and marketplaces. His research interests include new venture processes, venture performance, innovation management, new venture planning and survival, and IPO performance with the perspective of social network theory, knowledge-based theory, and upper echelon theory.

His scholarly works have been presented and published through various conferences and peer reviewed journals, including Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Journal of High Technology Management Research, Journal of Management Issues, Academy of Entrepreneurship Journal, and Corporate Reputation Review. Also, he is an active consultant for business process analysis and change management for private and public sectors.
