Biography

Anne Fuller has a PhD in strategy & entrepreneurship from Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA. Anne earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and prior to entering the PhD program; Anne held a wide variety of engineering, business and operational roles primarily in the electronics industry. Her experience spans all phases of product and business development such as; managing P&Ls including businesses of more than $500M annually; extensive international experience in South Asia Europe and Latin America and she was a founding general manager in mainland China residing there for more than a year.  

Dr. Fuller’s research centers on technology commercialization strategies and has been published in Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Research Policy, Academy of Management Learning & Education, Journal of Management Issues, Policy Studies Journal, NBER working papers & book chapters on technology transfer. Dr. Fuller has presented her work at a variety of professional, executive and academic conferences. Anne has been a consultant to numerous large and small businesses, organizations and the U.S. National Science Foundation.  

Anne’s teaching interests are in practical applications of academic underpinnings related to current business issues. Dr. Fuller was honored with the outstanding teaching award for the College of Business in 2012. She leads case based courses such as strategic management, technology management and entrepreneurial venture growth at the undergraduate, graduate and executive levels. Her teaching goal is to engage students in the learning process and apply business principles in analyzing real world complexities. She is currently a member of Academy of Management and Strategic Management Society.
