IMBA Students

Program Structure

The International MBA program is a one year, cohort-based, full-time program with a global focus. Each class lasts for 3 weeks. Students attend class from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, and 8:30 am – 3:30 pm on Fridays over the 3-week duration of each class.


The three prerequisite classes prepare students who do not have the undergraduate level knowledge of business to be successful in the program.  The three prerequisite classes are as follows:

Financial Accounting

B. CORE CLASSES (21 units)

The seven core classes in general management courses provide students with an overview of the fundamental aspects of business, which are as follows:

IMBA 210 Managerial Accounting
IMBA 211 Global Corporate Finance
IMBA 213 Marketing Management
IMBA 214 Statistical Decision Making
IMBA 215 Information Technology Management
IMBA 216 Human Resources Management
IMBA 217 Business Law and Legal Environment


The three areas of emphasis (Finance, Information Technology Management, or International Management) provide the four elective classes for the program.  The classes for each emphasis are:

1. Finance

IMBA 233 International Investments
IMBA 234 Contemporary Issues in International Finance

2. Information Technology (IT) Management

Only four of the five courses will be offered as part of the curriculum.

Students are required to complete a culminating experience course. The culminating experience course is:

The program has a total of 36 units.
