MSA Application Deadlines

Dates are subject to change by the CSU Chancellor's Office. Please check back periodically for updates. If an application deadline falls on a weekend day we will accept application materials on the next business day.

You only become an official applicant once your online application is submitted. You can submit your statement of purpose which is the last question on the application directly to the College of Business with your Resume (via email only to cbagrad@csus.edu). Just make a note on your application in the Statement of Purpose section "Submitting directly to the CBA office."

ALL ADMISSION DOCUMENTS INCLUDING: ONLINE GRADUATE APPLICATION, APPLICATION FEE, ALL TRANSCRIPTS, RESUME, RECOMMENDATION FORMS, BIO AND PHOTO SUBMISSION FORM, GMAT SCORES, ETC… MUST HAVE ARRIVED (postmark not accepted) AT BOTH OFFICES LISTED IN THE APPLICATION CHECKLIST ON OR BEFORE THE DEADLINES LISTED BELOW – NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE TO THIS POLICY. IF YOUR APPLICATION IS INCOMPLETE IT WILL BE DENIED.

US Residents with international transcripts must submit the required admission documents listed in the Application Checklist one month prior to the listed deadlines.

 

Spring 2019 Application Deadline: October 1, 2018

The Spring 2019 Application Deadline will be October 1, 2018. The CSU Apply online graduate application will open for the Spring 2019 admission cycle on August 1, 2018 We strongly recommend that you fill out and submit the online application as close to August 1st as possible. 

You still have until the October 1, 2018 deadline to take your GMAT exam but we request that you submit your online application and any other application documents as soon as possible.

All documents must be sent via email per the instructions on the Application Checklist (except for transcripts). We are not responsible for transcripts that are mailed to the incorrect address. Please be precise and use the specific addresses listed in the Application Checklist. Please plan accordingly as it takes on average 2-3 weeks for transcripts to be delivered unless you pay for a rush.

Please DO NOT CALL OR EMAIL to check if application documents have been received as we will not begin reviewing applications until after the October 1st deadline. All applicants will receive an email informing them of required application documents that are missing from their application. Applicants will be given a courtesy two week extension from the date of the email to provide any missing application documents (except the GMAT and TOEFL which must be completed by the October 1st deadline). If documents are not received during the two week courtesy extension time frame applicants will be denied for an incomplete application packet. Applicants are encouraged to check their MySacState messaging center and emails frequently in October so that they do not miss time sensitive communications from our office.

 

Fall 2019 Application Deadline: March 1, 2018
