Admission Information for Fall 2019 Admits

Welcome to the MSA program at Sacramento State! This Newly Admitted section of the website has been designed to support you as you transition from an applicant to a current student. The Newly Admitted section of the MSA website will be useful until the beginning of your first semester of enrollment in the MSA program. After you complete your first semester please begin to use the Current Student portion of the website to support your progress through your degree program. Students who live in the Sacramento area and are admitted to the MSA Degree Program should attend the group advising and orientation session. The information contained in the documents below will be explained and discussed in detail at the orientation. Your questions will be answered there as well.

In-Person Orientation and Mixer:

Other forms that may be needed during your first semester:

Application for Classification Form

If you have foundation courses to complete, you must do them in your first semester,Fall 2019. Therefore, in order to change from Conditionally Classified to Fully Classified status for the Spring 2020 semester, you must turn in this form by September 15, 2019. (You may email the form, per the instructions on the form, or you can bring a hardcopy to the new student orientation.) Please read the 1st two pages of the form for step by step instructions on how to fill out the form correctly. ORIENTATION: Once admitted to Sacramento State for Fall 2019, MSA students that live in the Sacramento area should attend the group advising and orientation session on May 14th. If you do not live in the Sacramento area and cannot attend the in-person orientation, you will receive a copy of the presentation with pertinent information after May 14th.
