FALL 2019 applications are now open for all teaching credential programs which now include the option for a Master of Arts in Teaching. There are required prerequisites for all MA/Credential programs, so please refer to the supplemental application directions and our list of course equivalencies.  If pre-requisite coursework is not completed by the end of Spring 2019, then they are required to be taken during Summer 2019.

  1. Review the Admission Requirements for Fall semester admissions.
  2. Attend a program information session or click the links below for more information.

  3. Review the options for completing the pre-Requisite Courses.
  4. Complete the appropriate supplemental program application and supporting documents (see below).

As application periods open, this page will be updated. Not all programs are open for each admission period. Open and closed application periods are noted with the following indicators:

Red dot = Currently closed for applications
Green dot = Currently open for applications
Yellow dot = Check with program staff (call 916-278-6639 or visit Academic and Program Services in Eureka Hall 401)

If you have last minute questions about the supplemental program application, please "drop-in" on one of the following application clinics anytime during the hours listed below and advisors will be available to assist you with finalizing your application. Bring your supplemental application and all supporting documents to the clinic.
