Areas Research/Scholarly Activity

I am interested in the association between childhood stressors (e.g., poverty, family, community) and emotion processing in adolescence. My dissertation examines the association between childhood adversity and adolescent brain function in response to emotionally salient stimuli.

In addition to research, I am committed to working with community-based organizations, helping to translate research for policy and practice.
